“The average American child watches 8,000 murders and
100,000 acts of violence before finishing elementary school -- thanks to the
miracle of television.”[1]
…Not exactly a big speech, but it gets the point across.
This tells us a lot about just how integrated television is in our society,
doesn’t it? If nothing else you have to acknowledge the potential behind it.
