Books Intro Pt.1

“Reading is a complex cognitive process of decoding symbols in order to construct or derive meaning (reading comprehension). It is a means of language acquisition, of communication, and of sharing information and ideas.”[1]
Reading has been with us since ancient times. Every language is capable of being read. It is a basic function of human existence, a fundamental ability that almost everyone is capable of doing. Most, if not all of the world’s greatest stories started out as a really good book. But are all books really worth our time?
